That's exactly what I was talking about when I said I don't really know the construction. Losing the bearing surface presents a problem. At that point it is either re-design the bearing support or make a whole new TB, which sounds like you are already thinking of. On the 65mm TB needing a tapered coupling, what about having a 2.5" inlet then expand the bore at the throttle plate where it needs the extra few mm of bore?Great ideas Rob, feel free to email me if you want to chat more. -Dan
